About Us

Welcome to Digital Media Alliance of Pakistan (DigiMAP). We are an organization that promotes digital media in Pakistan. Our mission is to build a better digital media ecosystem in Pakistan by supporting our members and advocating for better policies that protect and promote the growth of digital media. The Alliance was formed by issuing, endorsing and signing the Founding Charter on November 19, 2020, in Lahore, Pakistan.

DigiMAP is an  alliance of non-legacy independent digital media platforms in Pakistan. The founders of DigiMAP were concerned about the lack of support for digital media in Pakistan. We believe that digital media is the future of journalism and communication, and we are committed to promoting its growth and development in Pakistan.

Our vision is to create a vibrant digital media ecosystem in Pakistan that is open, inclusive, and ethical. We believe that digital media has the power to inform, educate, and empower people, and we are dedicated to using this power for the greater good. DigiMAP is an inclusive organization that welcomes all individuals and organizations that are interested in promoting digital media in Pakistan. Currently we have  36 members from all over Pakistan. The day to day affairs of DigiMAP are looked after by an elected cabinet.

Our future plans include expanding our membership base, organizing events and workshops to promote digital media literacy and skills, and advocating for policies that protect the rights of digital media professionals and ensure the growth and development of digital media in Pakistan.

We are committed to transparency, accountability, and integrity in all our activities and operations. We welcome feedback, suggestions, and ideas from our members and stakeholders, and we are always striving to improve and innovate.
